You have to explain the choice of red and yellow for the movie. For the comics we didnt care. We were kids and thought it was cool for a superhero costume to be red and yellow.

Daredevil started as yellow. Bumblebee is still yellow. Cory Aquino is still yellow.

The X-Men movie producers didnt go for the comic-book friendly yellow-and-blue costume for Wolvie. In fact, everybody wore leather.

The fact that the Iron Man movie chooses to use the red-and-yellow costume is a good indication that this movie is going to suck.

(Another case-in-point is the use of 'Flame on!' for the FF movie. It works in comics, but for a movie? It's just stupid. That's why the FF movie sucks. Nyaahahahaa!)

the X-Men wore black because Grant Morrison made them wear it and it looked cool. if Iron Man wore his black armor, the movie title would be changed to War Machine.

i can name one thing that saved the FF movie from total suckiness (and compelled me to buy the DVD): Jessica Alba. nyhahahahahaha! and i heard in FF2 her clothes will be invisible. nyhahahahahaha!

technically, that red and gold suit is not the first picture that came out. the first picture that came out was the grey suit. check out...
