The AP says it owns the copyright, and wants credit and compensation. Fairey disagrees.

if that's their stupid logic, then why stop with anyone taking a copy? why not sue everyone who even looks at it? fucking idiots.
if anyone can prove i made a single cent of profit out of a blog that puts up material to be critiqued, marveled at and made fun of, i offer you the dregs of a workingman's salary.
if anything, they should be paying me for drumming up any kind of interest in their products. actually, they don't need me at all.
